White Water Canoe Leader Training

The White Water Canoe Leader is designed to get you out leading paddlers on grade 2(3) rivers, so we'll be based in the Trossachs or Highland Perthshire for this formal British Canoeing training course. 

We'll look at everything from leadership philosiphy and methodolgy to venue selection and risk management along with the others skills you need to lead a fleet of up to six canoes. When it comes to equipment we can help kit you up with specilist bits but you will need your own personal paddling clothing. 

With the focus on being about the journey the Trossachs lends it's self to this award which is perfect for those working in clubs, centres and organisations, and works really well with a Paddlesport Instructor Award to increase your remit and lead fun journeys, or as the first step towards your White Water Canoe Coach Award.  

Although we are mainly based in the Trossachs, if you have a venue you'd like to use or would like a bespoke programme get in touch and we can taylor the course for to your needs.
